The webinar Basics of Works Constitution Act – Part 1 (BR 1) provides participants with the essential basics for successful works council work. Topics such as effective decision-making, regulations on video and telephone conferences and the correct organization of the works council office are covered in detail. Participants will also gain valuable insights into their rights and obligations, such as time off, protection against dismissal and participation rights in the works council. Particular attention is paid to cooperation with other committees and the organization of monthly meetings, consultation hours and works meetings. Practical exercises and case studies help participants to apply and deepen their knowledge.

  • Expenses of the works council and material facilities of the works council office

Day 2

  • Works council activities during and outside working hours
  • Releases and special protection against dismissal
